We are pleased to add the following 2 US database profiles:
- Mini-Sentinel Distributed Database (MSDD);
- Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results – Medicare Health Outcomes Survey (SEER-MHOS)
The MSDD was established in 2010 and uses pre-existing electronic healthcare data from multiple sources to explore a variety of approaches to improve the FDA’s ability to quickly identify and assess safety issues.
Established in 2008, SEER-MHOS links data from the SEER program of cancer registries that collect clinical, demographic and cause of death information for persons with cancer, and MHOS which provides information about the health-related quality of life of Medicare Advantage Organization enrollees.
