Started in 2015, the goal of the Utah Parkinson’s Disease Registry is to develop a database of accurate historical and current information for research and public health purposes. The collection of patient data is important for detecting disease incidence, and possible risk factors of PD and other related movement disorders. Each case of Parkinson's Disease or related movement disorder that is diagnosed or treated in Utah is required by the Utah house rule to be reported to the Utah Parkinson's Disease Registry.
