PatientsMap is a longitudinal, cross-sectional physician-survey database capturing the patient population size of 1,000 conditions in major countries including Japan, US, and China.
Target conditions:
One thousand conditions ranging from common chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, osteoporosis), oncology (including subtype for some), and hundreds of rare/orphan diseases (e.g., ALS, PNH, lysosomal diseases, etc).
Sample size and covered years:
Japan: 20,000 (Since 2011)
US: 6,000 (Since 2012)
China: 11,000 (Since 2018)
NOTE: Data collection for the US and China is conducted every other year.

This database also captures the extent of:
* Unmet medical needs for each condition; and
* Pharma company contact with physicians.

PatientsMap covers more than 50 infectious diseases including COVID-19, HIV, Clostridium difficile, Cytomegalovirus, MRSA, dengue fever, hepatitis C, and more.
