HPHC is a non-profit regional health plan providing medical insurance/administering insurance benefits for >2.7 million members; over 80% of members also have full pharmacy coverage. The HPHC provider network comprises nearly 9,000 primary care providers and 18,000 specialist physicians who practice in a broad range of settings. Enrollment and administrative claims data are available for HPHC members from 2000 to present. Linked electronic medical record data are available for about 13% of the HPHC member population.

The Hospital Marketing Services Ltd. (HMSL) is a Patient Diary Study collecting summary patient information about the treatment of patients by the secondary care physician. Data are collected from panels of secondary care specialists using an online survey methodology. Starting in 1999, coverage includes 50,000 patient records per year.

Take a moment to read B.R.I.D.G.E. TO DATA’s UK Biobank profile. It contains a wide variety of phenotype data (via questionnaires, direct measurements, linkage to other databases) and biological samples (blood, urine, saliva). We just updated the profile with detailed descriptions of the biobank’s genetic data.
