2/13/17: 80th and 81st US profiles added

We are pleased to add the following 2 US database profiles:
- Mini-Sentinel Distributed Database (MSDD); - Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results – Medicare Health Outcomes Survey (SEER-MHOS)

The MSDD was established in 2010 and uses pre-existing electronic healthcare data from multiple sources to explore a variety of approaches to improve the FDA’s ability to quickly identify and assess safety issues.

1/19/17: Welcoming new Board Member, Andrew Freedman, PhD

Dr. Freedman is the Clinical and Translational Epidemiology Branch Chief of the Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program, part of the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences at the National Cancer Institute of NIH. We are happy to have him on our Board and look forward to his valuable input as we start profiling genetic databases and biobanks this year.

12/30/16: New US and German DB profiles to close out 2016

Our 270th and 271st DB profiles are Health Nutrition & Population Statistics (HNPS) Database (USA) and the German Health Risk Institute (HRI) Database (Germany). • HNPS is a comprehensive database of health, nutrition and population statistics started by the World Bank in 1960. The database includes 214 world economies with over 250 health and socioeconomic indicators. • The German HRI was established in 2011 to pool healthcare claims data from statutory health insurance, and its database currently covers over 6 million Germans since 2008.

12/21/16: New US and German DB profiles just in time for the Holidays

Our 271st and 272nd DB profiles belong to the Health Nutrition & Population Statistics (HNPS) Database (USA) and the German Health Risk Institute (HRI) Database (Germany).

HNPS is a comprehensive database of health, nutrition and population started by the World Bank in 1960.  The database includes 214 world economies with over 250 indicators.

12/13/16: First DB profile from Iran

Our first profile from Iran, Tabriz Registry of Congenital Anomalies (TRoCA), is our 41st registry with birth defect data. TRoCA is a hospital-based registry in the city of Tabriz and includes births and children in the northwest of Iran. Approximately 15,000 births are added to the registry annually. As a subscriber you can search different databases from around the world that collect birth defect data – compare them side-by-side and create your own collection.

10/12/16: New US profile added with epi data and estimates from 2005 to 2040

The Kantar Health Epi Database® is our 269th database profile and provides epidemiology data with estimates from 2005 to 2040 for the G7 countries plus six key emerging countries.
